Minted Holiday Collection 2020

Erika Firm x Minted Holiday 2020 Photo Card Collection

I'm thrilled to share my holiday photo card collection with Minted. Each design is available in a few different sizes and formats, so it will work with horizontal or vertical photos. Of course all text is editable, and each design is available in lots of different colors. Matching envelopes, envelope liners, and envelope stickers are also available. Minted cards are so luxe -- the paper and printing are the best in the biz.

Abercrombie Jewelry Brand Identity

Abercrombie Jewelry Brand Identity

I was thrilled to design a re-brand for Abercrombie Jewelry, a family jeweler based in Austin, Texas. I had originally designed their logo more than 10 years ago and it was time for a refresh.

I started with a mood board (you can see it here) and an updated color palette, focusing on luxe yet unusual colors.

Custom Christmas Ornaments

Custom Christmas Ornaments 2020 by Erika Firm

I have this thing with Christmas ornaments. And by "this thing" I mean I loooooooooooooove them. I have boxes and boxes and boxes. And more boxes. My favorites are the personalized ones. I always hang those in the best spots on the front of the tree, eye level.

I've designed some customizable Christmas ornaments for my amazing partners: Simply to Impress and MPIX. Sources for each design:

Spring Summer 2021 Pantone Color Trends

Spring 2021 Summer 2021 Pantone Color Trends Report Two Color Combinations by Erika Firm
The Spring and Summer 2021 Colors that Pantone picked for its Spring - Summer 2021 fashion trends report are refreshing, inspiring, and joyful. Renewal seems to be the overall theme. No surprise to all you who know me: Green Ash and Mint are among favorites ... but I'm also absolutely loving Marigold, Rust, Burnt Coral, and all the Core Classics. Rust is one of my favorite neutrals, as is Marigold, and I particularly love either of them together with any shade of pink.

Based on what I'm seeing trending out in the fashion and home décor world, I'm predicting Marigold, Cerulean, or Illuminating as the 2021 Color of the Year. I think a lot depends on the health of our nation and how the COVID-19 pandemic plays out. If a vaccine (and a comprehensive strategy for distributing it) is in place, I think a bright, fresh hopeful color will be in order as the Pantone Color of the Year 2021. But we'll just have to wait and see.

New Yoga Mat Collection

Colorful Yoga Mats by artist Erika Firm

After my zillionth at home workout on my tired, boring yoga mat it hit me: I should design my own pretty yoga mat. I painted a bunch of new two-tone abstracts, including this one to match my favorite pair of cycling shoes, and reworked some of my favorite patterns for this new collection of colorful yoga mats. Long Live Snail Mail greeting cards by Erika Firm

Now is the perfect time to pick up a pen and send a little note to a loved one ... and you can help Save the USPS in the process. Greeting cards are one of my favorite things to design -- they're little pieces of love you can send through the mail! I've rounded up some of my favorites.

Cards 1 - 5: Erika Firm x Postable

Cards 6 - 8: Erika Firm x Minted

Leopard Spots Collection

Leopard Spots Pattern Collection of drinkware, tea towels, yoga mats and gifts by Erika Firm

My newest collection, Leopard Spots, features an animal print straight out of my imagination: cobalt blue, olive green, and sienna brown gouache painted big cat spots. I firmly believe that animal prints are neutrals -- they go with anything and everything. Products include drinkware, tea towels, tote bags, yoga mats, phone cases, and gifts.

August in Charleston, South Carolina is ... hot. And colorful. Loving the photos my friend Alesya snapped outside her studio on Spring Street. The crape myrtle, the peeling coral paint, the creamsicle house. HOT! Makes me want an orange push up pop and a lazy afternoon at the beach.
