As everyone else was gearing up for Back to School, I was finishing up my wedding collection submissions for Minted. It seems like every holiday I'm busy designing for a different holiday, at least six months down the road. Believe it or not, I've already started planning Christmas designs for 2016!
Voting is now open on Minted for the save the date collection. I'd love it if you would head over and cast some votes my way. Thanks!

Cue the confetti! It's a thrill to let you know that my client Melissa's shop, Revel & Co., is now open! The Analog Creative Co. team and I have been working with Revel & Co. behind the scenes for months, preparing for this day. We helped name the business, developed the branding and corporate identity, consulted on getting the product line ready for wholesale sales and distribution, designed the color palette, helped develop product, designed the packaging and designed all 40 patterns in the launch collection.
Products include gift wrap, ribbon, balloons, confetti, paper straws, cocktail napkins, and coasters, all in a signature color palette. The project is truly this paper lover's dream come true. Now, who's up for a party?!
A peek inside my sketchbook. This goache painting of a tiger in the jungle was done as a study for a new collection for Revel & Co. I can't wait to dive deeper into this project. Next up: more jungle cats, tropical leaves, moody backgrounds, and maybe a silly monkey or two.
ALPHABETTER | Pattern #0031 by Erika Firm
This whimsical repeating ABC pattern was inspired by my family's love of reading. I think the alphabet pattern would make darling bedding for a kids room.
ANCHORS AWEIGH | Pattern #0030 by Erika Firm
This whimsical repeating pattern was inspired by a visit to the marina with my little one. I think the anchor pattern would make darling bedding for a kids room.
MOD DALMATION | Pattern #0029 by Erika Firm
This chic repeating pattern was inspired by the TWA terminal at JFK. Every time I head to the Javits Center I drive by the terminal and imagine the dynamite outfits travelers used to wear. The Mod Dalmation pattern is available for purchase as fabric on Minted.
